If you are an individual with interest in economic justice, finance, community development, or data-driven solutions, volunteer with CLEAR and help us create a more fair & equal economy for LGBTQ communities.

Advisory Committee Member

Advisory Committee Members help inform the Board of Directors and CLEAR Staff about issues affecting LGBTQ communities by sharing their lived experiences to create awareness of issues so CLEAR can work toward solutions.

There are four Advisory working groups:

  • Consumer Working Group
  • Businesses Working Group
  • Nonprofit Working Group
  • Communities Working Group

Nomination Commitee

The Nomination Committee identifies, selects, and engages the community leaders of tomorrow as candidates for CLEAR’s independent Board of Directors, to be elected at CLEAR’s annual meeting in the Fall.

CLEAR Board Member

The Board of Directors is legally and ethically responsible for all activities of the organization, including: determining how the organization will carry out its mission through long and short-range planning; adopting an annual budget and providing fiscal oversight; recruiting, orienting, and developing fellow board members; hiring and evaluating the performance of the chief executive; evaluating overall performance of the organization in achieving its mission; establishing policies for effective management of the organization.
