100% of your donation to the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research goes to support our research, education, and advocacy work to create awareness about economic issues for LGBTQ households, organizations, and communities, and data-driven solutions at the local, State, and Federal level that can create more LGBTQ-competent and affirming opportunities to advance economic justice for LGBTQ people and other marginalized communities.

The Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research uses Stripe to process credit card donations and membership contributions that are made through our website.

Stripe collects 2.9% from every credit card donation that is made using our online donation forms, plus 30¢ from each credit card transaction. These fees are collected prior to the organization receives the proceeds from your donation. 

For check, cash, and ACH donations to the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research, no additional fees or costs are deducted from your contribution before the organization receives your donation.

100% of your donation, after the above transaction costs, goes to support our research, education and advocacy for LGBTQ communities.

The Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization. Your donation supports our research and advocacy for LGBTQ communities at the local, State, and Federal levels.

As a 501(c)4 civic nonprofit engaged in political advocacy, any donations that are made to the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research are not tax-deductible donations under the Internal Revenue Code.  However, they may be deductible as trade or business expenses, if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business.

You can modify or cancel your recurring donation or membership subscription by visiting your Donor Dashboard on the website.

You will need to login to your CLEAR Member Account, or enter your email on the Donor Dashboard and click on the link which will be sent to you, in order to access your donation history and to modify or cancel your current recurring donations.
