CLEAR Joins Consumer Federation of America as a Member

The Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research (CLEAR) is pleased to announce that it has joined the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) as a member organization.

The CFA is an association of non-profit consumer organizations that was established in 1968 to advance the consumer interest through research, advocacy, and education. Today, more than 250 of these groups participate in the federation and govern it through their representatives on the organization’s Board of Directors. Members include advocacy groups working at the national, state, and local level, consumer cooperatives, including credit unions and electric co-ops, labor unions, public power utilities, state and local consumer protection agencies, and other pro-consumer groups. Learn more about CFA on their website www.consumerfed.org.

CLEAR looks forward to working with CFA and its member organizations to enhance awareness and support for LGBTQI+ consumer problems, and advocate for solutions that can support their financial security and fair access to goods and services.
